Decorations this year will follow the theme of “The Symbols of Christmas” and, most importantly, each tree should aim to entertain the Festival’s visitors. Be creative! All exhibitors are encouraged to make their individual trees a real ‘entertainment’ for the public.
Each tree will have an agreed title and this should be reflected in the decorations. Trees may be decorated plainly or elaborately, limited only by imagination. They may follow a colour scheme or a theme; they may tell a story. The bigger the WOW factor, the better!
1 Setting up time on Thursday 6 December is between 10:30 and 20:00.
2 The trees will remain in the church until after Christmas. Decorations must be removed on Thursday 3 January between 09:00 and 13:00.
3 All exhibitors must respect other Church users when setting up and dismantling their trees.
4 Tree lights are welcome, but please do not use flashing or musical tree lights as these may cause distress to some visitors. The use of candles will NOT be allowed.
5 Power sockets will be available. Please do NOT bring your own extension leads – suitably tested extension leads will be provided where possible and appropriate.
6 The organisers reserve the right to remove any item they consider unsafe or inappropriate.
