A very big ‘thank you’ to all who took part in our first two Christmas Tree Festivals and helped to make them such a success. In 2016 we were able to donate £3,325 to Samaritans.
Our Christmas Tree Festival this year, supporting Save the Children, takes place from Thursday 7 to Sunday 10 December, and we hope you will take part. Featuring around 40 beautifully and thoughtfully decorated and illuminated trees, they will fill the church and make a spectacular display throughout the building, especially as daylight begins to fade.
Our 40 trees are now sponsored, but we are still looking for further sponsorship for the Festival.
We are looking for sponsorship of programmes, flyers, poinsettia plants, lighting and other decorations, refreshments…….
If you would like to sponsor anything please contact us at email email@example.com or contact us via the Church Office, Trinity URC, Mansel Road, SW19 4AA (tel: 020 8946 9281).
Sponsors will be listed in the Festival programme. The event will be widely publicised to attract as many visitors as possible and to acknowledge participants’ support. This is a wonderful opportunity to bring your organisation to the attention of the hundreds of people who will visit our Festival.
Your sponsorship will add real value to the Festival, widening the community celebration and helping to cover costs, meaning more can be raised for Save the Children, our Festival charity.
We are planning a very special decoration for the Christmas Tree Festival this year, but we need everyone to help us. Will you sponsor a poinsettia plant (£5 each), perhaps in memory of someone? The plants will be on display throughout the Festival, from 7 to 10 December. Then after the Festival is over, the poinsettia plant will be yours to take away. It can be collected following “Carols Among the Trees” on Sunday 10 December.
Please complete a card and return it to Andrew Sutton, together with your donation, as soon as possible. Cards are available in the church vestibule and Mansel Road Centre, or from Andrew. The proceeds will go to Save the Children.
The generous support of our sponsors plays a vital role in the success of our Christmas Tree Festival and our fund-raising for Save the Children.
If you do not wish to decorate a tree, but would like to sponsor the event, we would love to hear from you. All donations will be most gratefully received.
Payments can be made by credit/debit card to Trinity URC Charity No. 1134743 via MyDonate or by using the MyDonate link on this website.
